Marksville playoff run comes to a sudden end

The Marksville Tigers great season came to sudden end on Friday night as the E.D. White of Thibedeaux ran over the Tigers 52-19 in the second round of the state football playoffs. Marksville ended the season at 10-2 while E.D. White improved to 9-3 with the Class-AAA playoff win . The game was tied at 7-7 early in the first quarter before E.D. White ripped off 28 unanswered points. The Cardinals led 38-13 at halftime and coasted to the easy win in the second half.
