Funeral services for Marie Pridgeon Caldwell Liles will be at 4:00 pm, Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 in the chapel of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie with Rev. Conrad Champagne officiating. Burial will be on Monday, Feb. 27, 2012 at 10:00 am in Antioch Baptist Cemetery, Beebe, AR. Arrangements are under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie.

Mrs. Liles, age 85, of Bunkie, passed away on Friday, Feb. 24, 2012 in Bunkie General Hospital. She graduated from Beebe High School and became an executive secretary in Fort Worth, TX. She was an active member of Eureka Chapter #65 Order of the Eastern Star, Bunkie, having received her Gold Certificate of Proficiency in 1980, holds the Rainbow Grand Cross for Service to the organization and has held many local, state and general Grand Chapter appointments. She had served as secretary of the First Baptist Church of Cottonport and was a member of First Baptist Church of Bunkie.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Brice Boley Caldwell and Doyle Liles; a son, Dale Caldwell and a son-in-law, Bruce Beauregard. Survivors include her daughter, Delona Caldwell Beauregard of Simmesport; a step-daughter, Rev. Kathlene Liles of New York, New York; a granddaughter, Michelle Beauregard Courville of Simmesport and two great-grandchildren, Bruce and Lilly Beth Courville. Visitation will be at Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 beginning at 2 pm.
