Jack Ingram brings “Wherever You Are” to the Mari Showroom

MARKSVILLE, La. (March 25, 2011) – Paragon Casino Resort welcomes country music artist Jack Ingram to the Mari Showroom, Saturday, May 7 at 9 p.m. Tickets are $20, or free with Preferred Players Club cards, and currently on sale.

In 2008, Ingram won Academy of Country Music’s award for Best New Male Vocalist. Six of his hits have made Billboard’s Top 40 country music charts, including “Wherever You Are,” “That’s a Man,” “Love You,” and a cover of Hinder’s,“Lips of an Angel.”

The Texas native released his first, self-titled album in 1995 and has since released eight studio albums, one extended play, six live albums and eighteen singles. His latest album, Big Dreams and High Hopes, is said by Country Music Television to have “guts” and the track, “The World Ain’t Slowing Down,” may be the song that takes Ingram to the “next level.” The album has rock roots and was written with Ingram’s mentor and friend, songwriter Radney Foster. “That’s a Man,” was the first single released and climbed to the Top 20 of Billboard’s country music charts.

Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.com, the LA 1 Gifts or Voila located in Paragon Casino Resort, or by calling 1-800-946-1946. For more information about other upcoming events at Paragon, please visit our website at www.paragoncasinoresort.com.
