The Tunica Biloxi tribe of Louisiana honored all Avoyelles Parish educators at its sixth annual Teacher Appreciation Banquet in conjunction with National Teacher Appreciation Week for all public, charter, and parochial school teachers.
The keynote speaker was Joe Rosier, CEO of The Rapides Foundation in Alexandria. The event was held in the Mari Center.
Teachers from the three high schools, six public elementary schools, four Catholic schools, and the two charter schools were invited.
