Mr. & Mrs. Thomas E. LeBlanc and Mr. and Mrs. Charles K. Hutchens of Lafayette are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Jesti Taylor, to Christopher Peavy Breaux, son of Dr. & Mrs. Edward F. Breaux of Lafayette. The couple will be united in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony on Friday, January 20, 2012, at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Lafayette, Louisiana.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ms. Mabel Vercher and the late Mr. James O. Vercher of Lafayette, and Ms. Laura Jones and the late Mr. Edgar J. LeBlanc of Lafayette. She is a 2006 graduate of Saint Thomas More Catholic High School and a 2010 graduate of The University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she obtained a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She is currently working as a Registered Nurse at Sparks & Favor, P.C. in Birmingham, AL.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Dr. and Mrs. Edgar P. Breaux of Lafayette and Ms. Anne McQuillin of Simmesport, LA. He is a 2004 graduate of Saint Thomas More Catholic High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Finance. He is currently obtaining his Masters in Business Administration at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
