The CLHSD seeks an Executive Director (E.D.) to oversee transition from the current statewide delivery system to a locally governed and managed regional system tailored to meet the unique needs of the people in this area.

The CLHSD is a local governing entity created by the Louisiana Legislature with local accountability and management of public behavioral health & developmental disability services for an 8 parish area including Avoyelles, Catahoula, Concordia, Grant, LaSalle, Rapides, Vernon and Winn.

E.D. qualifications include a master’s degree, Doctorate preferred, with at least 6 years experience in Human Services, Healthcare Administration, management or leadership experience with public or non-profit organization.

Examples of E.D. duties include but are not limited to preparing annual budgets, monthly & annual reports, developing an executive management team, creating an evaluation process, responding to all DHH requests, identifying resource needs, pursuing funding sources in grants, serving as liaison to state and local organizations providing related services, managing public relations and responding to media inquiries.
