Services for Mr. Curry Joseph “Booger” Bordelon, Jr. will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 12, 2012 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Reverend Jeff White officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family requests that visitation be observed Wednesday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
Mr. Bordelon, 62, of Deville passed away Monday, April 9, 2012 at Woods Haven Nursing Home.
He was a member of St. Francis and Ann Catholic Church, Kolin. He raised Pigeons from 1963 until 2006. Mr. Bordelon was a member of the Pigeon Club of America.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Curry Joseph Bordelon, Sr. and Barbara Maxine Dozart Bordelon; brother, Gary Bordelon.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Curry Joseph Bordelon, III of Atlanta, GA; granddaughters, Melissa Ann Bordelon of Alexandria and Teresa Marie Bordelon of Alexandria; brother, Bruce Bordelon of Pineville; sister, Barbara Carter and husband, Greg of Kolin.
