Funeral services for Dorothy "Dot" McIntyre Fogleman will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at David Haas Memorial United Methodist Church with the Revs. Joe Hoover and Larry O'Dell officiating. Burial will be in the Pythian Cemetery under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie.
Mrs. Fogleman, age 69, of Bunkie passed away in Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria.
She was an LSU graduate and had taught in Lake Charles and at Evergreen and Bunkie Elementary Schools. She was presently employed at APAS in Mansura. She was a member of the David Haas Memorial United Methodist Church and Alpha Delta Kappa.
Survivors include her husband, Lynn Fogleman of Bunkie; one son, Blake Fogleman of Benton, Arkansas; one daughter, Dana Fogleman of Bunkie; one sister, Bobbie McIntyre of Shalimar, Florida; two aunts, Dorothy Abney of Corpus Christi, Texas and Marjorie Clover of Dickinson, Texas; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Melancon Funeral Home on Monday, November 9, 2009 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and at David Haas Memorial United Methodist Church on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 from 9 a.m. until service time.
