FIFTHWARD-Services for Mr. Joseph Lee Lemoine will be held Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Fifth Ward with Father Siverino Kwebuza officiating.

Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery #3 in Fifth Ward. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mr. Lemoine, age 78, of Fifth Ward passed away at Colonial Nursing Home in Marksville on Monday, January 16, 2012.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Verlie Guillot Lemoine, three brothers, Irvin, Lemoine, Herbert Lemine and Ivory Lemoine; two sisters, Mildred Dauzat and Harriet Juneau.

He is survived by his wife, Dotrice DeSoto Lemoine of Fifth Ward, one son Timothy Lemoine (Leslie) of Fifth Ward, one daughter, Kendra Guillot (Brent) of Fifth Ward, one brother, Alton ‘Nat’ Lemoine of Fifth Ward, one sister, Odile Bernard of Fifth Ward, three grandchildren, Brad Lemoine, Mallory Lemoine, and Kaylen Guillot.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville & resume at 8:00 a.m. Thursday. Rosary time will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday.
