Funeral services for Kenneth Roy Payton will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 27, 2012 at the Christian Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Ernest Smith officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie. Mr. Payton, age 57, of New Orleans, LA died in his residence on July 15, 2012. He was a tacker with Avondale Ship Yard for thirty years.

Survivors include two sisters, Lessie P. Rose of Bunkie and Cheryl Lynn Eggins of Bunkie and three brothers, Jessie Payton and wife, Barbara, of Houston, TX, Rev. Freddie Payton and wife, Elaine, of Houston, TX and Edward Payton and wife, Ruby, of Houston, TX.

Visitation will at Christian Missionary Baptist Church on Friday, July 27, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
