Funeral Services for Mr. Leonard Neyland will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2012 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville with Fr. Chad Partain officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mr. Neyland, age 62, of Mansura passed away Wednesday, February 08, 2012 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. He was the owner of Mansura Drug Store in Mansura for the past 28 years, past president of the Mansura Chamber of Commerce, past president of the Mansura Lions Club, former board member of Silver Lining, member of the V.F.W., N.R.A., A.Q.H.A, N.C.H.A., and A.C.H.A., lifetime sponsor of Ducks Unlimited, and an active supporter of the Michelle Lynn Holsey Foundation.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Linda B. Neyland of Mansura; two sons, Chad Neyland of Baton Rouge, and Shane Lea, of Milford, NJ.; and one daughter, Amber Neyland, of Mansura; two brothers, Wayne Neyland of Denham Springs, and Herbert Patrick Brouillette of Marksville; one sister Roseada Mayeux of Marksville; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 10, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations made to the Michelle Lynn Holsey Foundation, P.O. Box 652, Crockett, TX., 75835 in memory of Mr. Leonard Neyland.

Mr. Lenny was such a good man and will be missed by many. He has helped my mom out tremendously w/ delivering meds to her when she couldn't go. R.I.P Mr. Lenny!!!!
