Funeral services for Marjorie Gremillion Dauzat will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 20, 2012 at the Hixson Brothers Chapel in Marksville. Interment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery #3 in Fifth Ward. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville. Ms. Dauzat, age 88, of Hessmer, passed away at Rapides General Hospital in Alexandria on Thursday, August 16, 2012.

She is survived by one son, Brent Dauzat if Hessmer, one daughter, Audrene Barrere of Hessmer, 4 Grandchildren & 7 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012 at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville from 1:00 p.m. all night until time of service on Monday. A rosary will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
