Paragon donates over $30,000 to non -profit groups

The Tunica-Biloxi Tribe announced Ausust 17th that over the $30,000 has been distributed to organizations for community service projects in just the third quarter.

These organizations who have received funding through the donations program in the third quarter are: the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Habitat for Humanity, United Way of Acadiana Volunteer Center, Hope House of Central Louisiana, DeQuincy Railroad Museum, Avoyelles Public Charter School, Inc., Avoyelles Council on Aging, Inc., Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeast Louisiana, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana, Bunkie Police Department, Elton Lee Dupar Foundation, Effie Ballpark, Experience Works, Julien Poydras Museum & Arts Council, Louisiana Purchase Council/Boy Scouts of America, Moreauville Police Department, Montessori Educational Center, Pillows of Hope, Pinecrest Supports & Services Center, Protective Animal Welfare Society, The Salvation Army of Alexandria, LA, and the Town of Cheneyville Recreation Department.

Most recently, on July 26, Paragon Casino Resort hosted the 6th Annual La Cuisine de la Louisiane, a culinary event benefiting three non-profit organizations in the community. The fundraiser generated over $15,000 for the American Red Cross of Central Louisiana, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and the Fox Theater of Marksville.
