On Monday, October 25, the St. Edmund Elementary 4-H members toured The Eunice News.

Our tour guide, Ms. Myra Miller, conducted the tour. She showed us the printing press, the advertisement section, and the circulative department. All of the 4-H members were amazed at the speed of the printing press!

Jim Butler, the editor of The Eunice News, said that some newspaper companies are growing trees to produce the paper to print the news.

The 4-H members who attended were Christopher Berzas, Kaden Fontenot, Katherine Fontenot, John Ross Miller, Andre’ Tabbytosavit, Christian Tabbytosavit, Brennon Thompson, CiCi Trahan, and Drake Trahan.

Also attending were our 4-H leaders Mrs. Katie Cormier and Ms. Margaret Frey.
