“The Emperor’s New Clothes” is written by Karen Tate with music and lyrics by Bill Francoeur. The story follows a hypochondriac emperor who has a love of beautiful clothes. He is tricked by two con artists who sell him an imaginary royal wardrobe. He goes among the townspeople in only his underwear.
