MANSURA- Funeral services for Truitt Anthony Brassette will be at 12 p.m. on Friday, June 8, 2012 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Mansura, with Father Chad Partain officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul’s Mausoleum in Mansura.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 8, 2012 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Mansura, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.

Mr. Brassette, age 87 of Mansura, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at the Avoyelles Hospital.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Virby Jeansonne Brassette.

He is survived by his wife, Mercedes Brassette of Mansura; two sons, Jonathon Brassette of Lake Charles, and Duane Brassette of Lake Charles; two daughters, Phyllis Brassette of Cottonport, and Edith Brassette of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one sister, Mary Scallan of Cottonport; and 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
