Our beloved Mother, Anna Mae George LaBorde, passed away on Sunday morning, August 5, 2012, at Oakmont Estates in Mansura, La. She was 86 born on April 4, 1926. She was born in Brouillette, LA and a lifelong resident of Bordelonville. She was married to our father, Clifton James LaBorde, for 54 years before his death in 1998.

Anna is survived by two daughters, Rhonda LaBorde Bordelon and husband Lester P. Bordelon of Bordelonville, and Bonnie LaBorde Braud and husband, Gerald W. Braud of Gonzales, LA.

Six grandchildren, Chad Bordelon and wife Amy, Randy Bordelon and wife Caroline, Nicole Noble and husband Brian, Lisa St. Romain and husband Don, Stephanie Blackwell and husband Robert and Jeremy Braud.

Great Grandchildren, Cara Ducote and husband Ryan, Chelsea Heath, Chase Bordelon, Cory St. Romain, Cody Pollard, Reese Bordelon, Cameron Pollard, Hayden LeBlanc, Tori Bordelon, Lauren Blackwell, Benjamin Blackwell, Alex Nelson, Conner Blackwell, Marshall Bordelon, Maddox Bordelon, and Jory Bordelon.

Great Great Grandchildren, Colton and Kylan Ducote.

Preceded in death by her husband Clifton James LaBorde; parents, James H. and Beatrice George; 2 brothers, Jimmie and Sam George, 1 sister, Althea George Cailleteau.

A gathering of friends and family will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Bordelonville on Saturday, August 11th at 8:00am with Mass at 10:00am. Mass will be followed by internment at a private ceremony in Pineville at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family has requested no flowers be sent.
