Funeral services for Ray John Bordelon of Plaucheville will take place at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Dupont on Thursday, May 10, 2012, beginning at 10:00am with Rev. George Krosfield officiating. Visitations will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church Hall on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and will resume at 8:00am Thursday morning. Burial services will commence at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.

Ray Bordelon, age 86, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital on Tuesday, May 8, 2012.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Faye Bordelon; parents, Belton & Mary Amanda Bordelon.

He is survived by his children, Randy Bordelon & wife Mollie of Moreauville, Evelyn Mayeux & husband Gerald of Alexandria; sister, Audrey Guillory of Cottonport; grandchildren, Jared Mayeux of Baton Rouge, Joshua Mayeux of Lafayette, Jessica Mayeux of Baton Rouge, Bradley Bordelon of Denham Springs, Bryan Bordelon of Moreauville; great-grandchildren, Jacob Bordelon of Denham Springs, Tyler Bordelon of Dupont.

Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escudé Funeral Home.
