FranU suspends fall enrollment deadline amid FAFSA delays

FranU is suspending the fall semester enrollment deadline amid ongoing FAFSA delays.

According to the FranU vice president for enrollment management, waiving the deadline will allow students to register up until the beginning of classes in August.

Officials with FranU are also urging students to continue to submit FAFSA. There was a delayed release of the new FAFSA in January, which also led to a months-long delay in the release of students’ data to universities. The data wasn’t made available until April.

Data from FAFSA allows universities to see which students may be eligible for federal aid, grants, student loans, and university scholarships.
