Funeral services for Mary Lee Price will be at 1:00 p.m. in Second Union Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Ardoin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie.

Mrs. Price, age 84, of Bunkie, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010 in CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

She was preceded in death by a son, Herman Price and a daughter, Delores Patterson.

She was the mother of six sons, Roy Lee Price and wife, Alberta, of Houston, TX, Lionel Price and wife,Renee' Catherine, of Houston, TX, Dennis Price and wife, Barbara, of Bunkie, Marvin Dale Price and wife, Jeanette, of New Orleans, Kenneth Price and wife, Alphosine, of Bunkie and Herman Price, deceased; five daughters, Maple Mae Timothy of Palm Springs, CA, Eunice Mae World of Palm Springs, CA, Edra Mae Edwards and husband, Joseph, of Morrow, Barbara Ann West and husband, Ronald, of Missouri City, TX and Delores Patterson, deceased.

She is also survived by two sisters, Mary Sue Washington of Bunkie and Alice Howard of Palm Springs, CA; a grandson she considered as a son, Warren Patterson, Jr. of Lake Charles; thirty-two grandchildren, forty-four great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
