Early this morning, a crash involving one vehicle has killed a pedestrian in Sabine Parish.
Troopers responded to the crash around 2:50 am, which occurred on LA Hwy 3229 south of LA Hwy 482. The crash involved an unknown vehicle and a pedestrian, identified as Curtis Allen Pattie Jr. (W/M 35 yrs) of Lumberton, TX. Pattie Jr. was walking north bound on the north bound fog line of LA Hwy 3229 when the unknown vehicle collided with him.
Pattie Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene.
Routine toxicology tests are pending.
Sabine Parish Coroner’s Office will conduct an investigation to determine the exact cause of death.
