Simmesport pair charged with 32 rocks of crack cocaine

According to Avoyelles Parsih Sheriff Doug Anderson two (2) Simmesport residents were arrested after deputies searched the home of Eden Rabalais located at 6648 Hwy 1, Simmesport, La. late tuesday evening. The Sheriff said the investigation began after investigators received citizen's complaints of alledged drug trafficking at the Hwy. 1 residence.

Deputies seized 32 individually plastic wrapped suspected rocks of crack cocaine and five (5) plastic baggies containing suspected powdered cocaine. The Sheriff said the estimated $1600.00 of suspected illegal drugs were packaged in a manner consistent with the illegal street sale of narcotics. Deputies also seized $1660.00 in U.S. currency believed to be the proceeds from illegal drug sales.

186 Green Acres Simmesport, Louisiana Charges: 40:967 Possession of Sch. CDS II w/intent to distribute

14: 108 Resisting an officer

Suspect # 2 Eden Rabalais, 25 y.o.a.

6648 Hwy 1 Simmesport Charges: 40:967 Possession of Sch. CDS II wjintent to distribute Both arrestees were booked into the A.P.5.0. DC #1 on the above charges.
