Graveside services for Mrs. Gloria (Dupuy) McKay will be held at 10:15 a.m., Monday, February 28, 2011 at St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Mansura. Arrangements are held under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mrs. McKay, age 44, of Hessmer, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.

Survivors include one son, Michael McKay, Jr. of Hessmer; two daughters, Shawntell McKay of Bunkie and Ashley McKay of Hessmer; her father, Carlton P. Ducote of Colfax; brother, Joseph Paul Ducote of Colfax; two sisters, Priscilla Ducote of Opelousas and Karen Deville (Donnie) of Elmer; three grandchildren, Shawn Dupont, Bobby Dupont and and Riley Dupont; and her fiancé, David Dupuy of Hessmer.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 28, 2011 at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

Pallbearers for the funeral service were Bobby Dupont, Jr., Henry Goudeau, Terrell Ducote, Joseph Ducote, Jessie Dupuy, and Donny Deville.
