Patricia Ann Dauzat Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia Ann Paul Dauzat will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Fifth Ward with Father Silverino Kwebuza officiating. Interment will be held in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery #3 in Fifth Ward. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mrs. Dauzat, age 61, of Fifth Ward, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2011 at Colonial Nursing Home in Marksville after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father, Oszia Paul and sister, Renee Gaspard.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald “Chopper” Dauzat of Fifth Ward, one son, Jeffrey Dauzat of Fifth Ward, mother, Eleene Paul of Marksville, one sister, Elaine Tassin of Marksville, three grandchildren, Seth, Cameron and Ally Dauzat.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will resume on Thursday at 8:00 a.m. until shortly before funeral service time.

A Christian Wake Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Pallbearers for the funeral service will be Joe Duplechin, Dwight Croak, Jonathan LeDoux, Jeremey Bonnette, Joshua Bonnette, Scott Tassin, Jamie Tassin, and Seth Dauzat.
