Funeral services for Ella Mae Chenevert will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church with Father Thomas E. Paul officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Mansura.

Ella Mae Chenevert, age 74, of Cottonport passed away Wednesday, May 18 at Bayou Vista Nursing Home.

She is preceded in death by her parents Wilkin and Adele Hollis Juneau of Cottonport; and her husband, Lawrence “Pete” Chenevert.

She is survived by two sons, John Chenevert and Peter Chenevert both of Cottonport; one daughter, Phyllis Riche of Baton Rouge; one sister, Jeanette Villemarette; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport on friday, May 20 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wake service will be Friday May 20 at 6:30 p.m. and will re-open the following day, May 21, at 8 a.m.
