HAMBURG - Funeral services for Ambrose “Grand, Jr.” Lemoine Jr. of Hamburg will be held on Monday June 13, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moreauville. Burial will be held in St. Catherine Cemetery in Hamburg under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Moreauville.
Lemoine, age 86, died on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Bayou Chateau Nursing Center.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Lemoine; father, Ambrose Lemoine, Sr.; and mother, Estella Mayeaux Lemoine.
He is survived by two sone, Malcolm “Mac’ Lemoine of Brouillette; Barry Lemoine of Marksville; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Escude Funeral Home of Moreauville on Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and reopen at 8 a.m. on MOnday, June 13.
