Funeral services for Mr. Sylvan Carmouche will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Marksville with Father Dan Corkery officiating. Interment will be in the St. Alphonsus Mausoleum in Hessmer. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Mr. Carmouche, age 81 of Hessmer passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011 in Hessmer.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gladys Roy Carmouche of Hessmer, 1 son, Steven Carmouche of Hessmer, 1 daughter, Shirley Marshall of Hessmer, 1 brother, John Carmouche of Fifth Ward, 2 sisters, Lessie Carmouche & Nora Lemoine both of Fifth Ward, 2 Grandchildren & 4 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, July 25, 2011 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. & resume on Tuesday until funeral service time. The Rosary will be held at 6:30 P.M. Monday evening.
Pallbearers are John Carmouche, Irbin Degrusha, Raymond Lemoine, Terrell Dupuy, Chad Daigrepont & Jason Bernard.
