State lease brings in 22.5 percent royalty near Odenburg

The state mineral lease of government owned lands brought in $253.52 an acre in the August 10 auction.

A total of 69.820 acres in the Odenburg area went to the high bidder, Anadarko, for total price of $17,700.77. Anadarko also will give 22.5 percent royalty for minerals which are found.
