A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Esther Carmouche Guillot will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Fifth Ward with Father Paul Kunnumpuram, Father Silverino Kwebuza and Father Rusty Rabalais officiating, respectively. Entombment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery #3 in Fifth Ward. Arrangements are under the direction of Kramer of Fifth Ward.

Mrs. Guillot, age 91, of Fifth Ward, passed away Friday, December 23, 2011 at Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ulice Guillot, her parents, John and Edvise Carmouche, and her brother, Nolan Carmouche.

She is survived by her son, Malcolm Guillot and wife Joyce of Fifth Ward, two granddaughters Jonica Petty and husband Boyd of Baton Rouge, Sondra Garvin of Houston, Texas, eight great grandchildren, Carlin, Cameron, Claire,and Caroline Petty of Baton Rouge, Mackenzie, Miles, Mason, and Myers Garvin of Houston, Texas.

Pallbearers for the service will be Boyd Petty, Cameron Petty, Mackenzie Garvin, Miles Garvin, Irbin DeGrusha and Carlos Guillot.

Vistitation will be held Monday, December 26, 2011 in the chapel of Kramer of Fifth Ward from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will resume at 8:00 a.m. until shortly before time of service on Tuesday, December 27, 2011. A wake service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, December 26, 2011 in the funeral home.
