Visitations for Woodrow Bordelon of Cottonport will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport on Sunday, January 1, 2012, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm with a rosary being held at 1:30 lead by Father Chad Partain. Burial services will commence at the Metairie Cemetery on Tuesday, January 3.
Woodrow Bordelon, age 84, passed away at the Avoyelles Manor Nursing Home of Dupont on Wednesday, December 28, 2011.
He is preceded in death by his; wife, Maria Bordelon; parents, Willen & Panny Bordelon; brother, Franklin Bordelon; sister, Geneva Bordelon.
He is survived by his; children, Christy Geseke of Cottonport, Henry Bordelon of Lafayette; granddaughter, Monica Underwood; two great-grandchildren; brother, Houston Bordelon; sister, Mary Graham, both of Plaucheville. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
