BATON ROUGE – Ralph Andrews of Baton Rouge received an early Christmas present; he was the sole winner of the $1,250,000 Lotto jackpot from the Dec. 24 drawing, which he claimed at Louisiana Lottery Headquarters last week.

Andrews purchased his winning ticket from Fast Lyon on Airline Highway in Baton Rouge. Fast Lyon will receive a one-time bonus of $12,500, or one percent of the jackpot prize, for selling Andrews his winning ticket.

Andrews, age 58, received $895,580 after state and federal taxes were withheld.

The winning numbers for the Dec. 24 Lotto drawing were 05-11-21-34-36-40.
