Lottie Irene Mixon, age 56 of Simmesport, passed away on January 10, 2012 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center, Baton Rouge.

Arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport.

Funeral services for Lottie Mixon of Simmesport will take place on Friday, January 13, 2012 at the Christ the King Catholic Church of Simmesport, beginning at 11:30am. Visitations will also be held at the church, prior to the funeral, from 10:30am to 11:30am. Burial services will commence at the Palmetto Methodist Cemetery. Lottie Mixon, age 56, passed away at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center on Tuesday, January 10, 2012. She is preceded in death by her; mother, Ophelia Ganson Normand; brother, Foster Mixon, Jr. She is survived by her; father, Lawrence Normand of Simmesport; brothers, Tommy Normand of Walker, Keith Normand of Geismar, Bryan Normand of Panama City Beach, FL, Samuel Mixon of Krotz Springs; sisters, Patricia Rouse of Denham Springs, Wanda Munson of Batchelor, Carolyn Gunnell of Batchelor.
