CHENEYVILLE-Funeral services for Edward Thomas Blue, Sr., age 64, of Cheneyville will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Booneville Memorial United Methodist Church, Cheneyville with Pastor James Ray, Sr. officiating. Interment will be in Edgefield Cemetery, under the direction of Progressive Funeral Home, Bunkie.

Mr. Blue passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012 at his residence.

He served his country through the United States Marine Corps and was employed by the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Alexandria for 39 years.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Audrey Faye Blue, of 42 years; three sons, Edward T. Blue, Jr., of Cheneyville, and Michael D. Blue of Cheneyville and Marcus W. Blue of Shreveport; four daughters, Cynthia M. Arthur and Alisha D. Blue both of Cheneyville, Quinnetta R. Blue of Biloxi, Mississippi and Brittany Wells of Alexandria; two brothers, Willie Blue, of Bunkie, and Jimmy L. Blue of Bunkie, one sister, Annie Lee Blue of Cheneyville; and nine grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Booneville Memorial United Methodist Church Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
