Visitations will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at the Escudé Funeral Home of Simmesport, beginning at 5:00pm and will last all night until time of service Monday morning. Burial services will commence at the Gunnells Cemetery.
John Bowman, age 79, passed away at his home in Simmesport on Saturday, January 21, 2012.
He is preceded in death by his; daughter, Debra Dale Nobe; parents, Alma & Beulah Mayers Bowman.
He is survived by his; wife, Katherine Gunnells Bowman of Simmesport; daughters, Wanda Davis of Houma, Etta Jernigan of Houma, Paula Falgout of Houma, Cordette Moreau of Morganza; brother, Earl Bowman of Lettsworth; sisters, Vernelle Leger of Simmesport, Bonnie Byrd of Slidell. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren & twenty-five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Arthur L Hebert, John Paul Hebert, Thomas “Peanut” Jernigan, Rodney Davis, Raymond Gunnells, Williams Gunnells, & Tyler Bonnette.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escudé Funeral Home.
