MARKSVILLE-Memorial services for Mr. Cubert “Cube” Landry Lemoine will be held at a later date.  Interment will be in the St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Bordelonville. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mr. Lemoine, age 79, of Moreauville, passed away at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria on Sunday, January 22, 2012. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Catherine D. Lemoine, parents, Arthur & Mable Lemoine. He is a retired Marine, Korean War Veteran, Louisiana Army National Guard & a Mason.

  He is survived by one son, Joel Lemoine (Michele) of Moreauville, four daughters; Sheila St. Romain (Prentiss) of Marksville, Linda Brouillette (Sidney) Jr. of Simmesport, Tina Vead (Monte) of Hamburg, and Tammy Dixson of Dupont, three sisters; Ethel Bacon of Bunkie, Judy Daigrepont of Prairieville, and Janice Gauthier of Marksville; two brothers, Steve Lemoine of Evergreen and Arthur Lemoine of Bunkie.
