Troopers responded to the crash around 8:30 am, which occurred on LA Hwy 454 west of LA Hwy 107 near the Avoyelles/Rapides Parish line. The crash involved a 2000 Cadillac Escalade, driven by Yvonne Michielle Muth Willett (W/F 35 yrs). The Cadillac was west bound on LA Hwy 454 when Willett lost control and exited the right side of the roadway. After exiting the roadway, the vehicle collided with a driveway embankment and began overturning.
Willett was not wearing her seatbelt and was ejected. She was pronounced dead.
Routine toxicology tests are pending. The crash remains under investigation.
