BATON ROUGE- Services for Mr. Julius Mark "Meatball" Normand will be announced at a later date.

A native  of Marksville, Mr. Julius Mark “Meatball” Normand, age 72, was born January 18, 1940 and passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at 2 p.m. at his residence in Baton Rouge, after a brief illness.

He was honorably discharged after serving three years in U.S. Army. He was the manger of Gulfco Finance of Marksville and retired as the owner of Custom windows of Huston, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry J. Normand and Ethel M. Normand and brother Alcide "Al" Normand.

He leaves behind his wife, Janet Schindler Normand; one daughter, Stephanie (Bruce) Barnes; one granddaughter, Claire Alice Barnes; two sons, Jason Normand and Brent Normand; and one sister, Davie Lee Normand Holley.
