The annual Avoyelles Farmers Market is set every Saturday morning in June from 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. on the Historic Courthouse Square.

This will be the 6th season, and the market has grown every year. They offer free coffee, kids activities, live entertainment, along with fresh local produce and fruit.

Vendors will also be selling jams, honey, flowers, herbs, breads, sweets, goat cheese, fresh smoothies, hand-made soaps, crafts, jewelry, etc.

The Marksville Farmers' Market was created in 2007 by a group of dedicated volunteers and dreamers, who hoped an exciting, social event could serve a higher purpose... supporting our local farmers and food artisans.
