MANSURA- Funeral services for Leroy Johnson will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Mansura. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery in Mansura. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.

Visitation will be on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Escude Funeral Home of Mansura from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Mr. Johnson, age 69 of Marksville, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at the Avoyelles Hospital.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Ethel Johnson; one daughter, Donna Marie Johnson; his wife, Audrey Mae Johnson, and one brother, Calvin Johnson.

He is surivied by two brothers, Johnny Johnson of Mansura, and David C. Johnson of Marksville; one sister, Ruth Thomas of Houston, Texas; one step-daughter, Beverly Miner of Mansura; one son, Leroy J. Johnson of Los Angeles, California; one sister, Lillie M. Francisco, Houston, Texas; three step-sons, samuel Smith of Marksville, Jessie Andrew of Marksville, and Homer Keno of Marksville, one son-in-law, Edwin Oglesby, Sr. of Los Angeles, California; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
