The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that weather permitting beginning Monday, July 9, 2012, work will begin on LA 1192 between Johnson Road and the south junction of LA 107. This work will consist of replacement of drainage structures, cold planing asphaltic concrete, pavement patching, superpave asphaltic concrete pavement, and related work. The project is 3.86 miles long and is estimated to be completed by September, 2012. This project is located in Avoyelles Parish and was awarded to Diamond B Construction Co., LLC. for $1,414,797.26.

There will be no detours or width restrictions as a result of this project.
