The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that weather permitting beginning Friday, July 20, 2012, work will begin on Routes LA 3265 in Rapides Parish and LA 115 in Avoyelles Parishes.

This work consists of cold planing asphaltic concrete, pavement patching, superpave asphaltic concrete pavement, and related work. The project on LA 3265 is 0.55 of a mile long, and the project on LA 115 is 0.59 of a mile long and is estimated to be completed by September, 2012.

This project is located in Rapides and Avoyelles Parish and was awarded to Gilchrist Construction Co., LLC for $708,046.11. The contractor will work the LA 3265 project first then move to the LA 115 project.
