Avoyelles High
Avoyelles High School in Moreauville will hold registration Wednesday, August 1 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Thursday, August 2 from noon to 6 p.m.; and Friday, August 3 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Any student attending Avoyelles High can register at any time during these three days. Registration fees are pending. For more information, call 985-2361.
Bunkie High
Registration for Bunkie High School will be held Wednesday, August 1 and Thursday, August 2.
All 7th and 8th graders and freshmen will register on Wednesday from 8 a.m. to noon.
All sophomores, juniors and seniors will register Thursday, from 8 a.m. to noon. For more information, call 346-6216.
Marksville High
Marksville High School will hold registration on July 30 to August 2.
All fees and registrations must be paid at the time of registration. Fees include: $20 for registration; $20 for PE uniform; $10 for parking and $5 for lockers. Only cash or money orders will be accepted.
Registration dates are: Monday, July 30- 8 to 11:30 a.m. for seniors and 1 to 3 p.m. for juniors; Tuesday, July 31- 8 to 11:30 a.m. for sophomores and 1 to 3 p.m. for freshmen; Wednesday, August 1- 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for 8th graders and Thursday, August 2- 8 to 2 p.m. for 7th graders. Cottonport Elementary
Cottonport Elementary School will have registration for new students only on July 25, 26 and 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. Registration fee of $20 is due at the time of registration.
Parents need to bring the student’s Social Security card, shot record, birth certificate and notarized lease or rental agreement or a tax exempt form from the Avoyelles Parish Assessor’s Office located at the Avoyelles Parish Courthouse. For more information, call the school at 876-3404.
Lafargue Elementary
Lafargue Elementary School in the Effie community has already held registration for returning students but new students only may register beginning tomorrow, July 23 until the first day of school, Monday, August 13.
There will be an open house on Thursday, August 9 from 6 to 7 p.m.

Plaucheville Elementary
Plaucheville Elementary School will hold registration for all new and returning students on Monday, July 30 through Friday, August 3 from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. A fee of $25 per student will be collected at the time of registration.
All new students entering Plaucheville Elementary must have a birth certificate, an up-dated immunization and shot record, Social Security card and verification of address.
Address verification can be obtained from either the assessor’s office for homeowners or a copy of a rental/lease agreement at the current address, and if renting, a notarized letter from the landlord stating the current living address.
Open house will be held on Thursday, August 9 at 6 p.m. for both parents and students. At this time, parents can meet the teachers and any questions or concerns will be addressed. For more information, call 922-3311.
Avoyelles Public Charter
Avoyelles Public Charter School in Mansura has scheduled mandatory registration for ALL returning students.
Parents can come in to register and pay fees ($80) as follows: Kindergarten- Tuesday, August 7 at 6 p.m. is mandatory orientation/registration for all new and returning parents (not students); 1st through 8th grades- Wednesday, August 8 from 3 to 6 p.m. in the elementary school lobby; freshmen orientation- Thursday, August 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon is mandatory for all freshmen, meet in the high school lobby; and high school registration- Thursday, August 9 for new students from 5 to 6 p.m. and returning students from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m.

St. Anthony of Padua
St. Anthony of Padua School in Bunkie will hold registration August 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for any grade.
Registration fees are due at the registration. They include: $101 non-refundable registration fee per child; $133 book fee; $35 insurance and $50 diocesan fee. August tuition is also due at this time.
New students must bring a copy of their birth certificate, shot records and Social Security card. For more information call 346-2739.
St. Joseph School
Class scheduling for the high school grades at St. Joseph School in Plaucheville will be held August 7 and August 8.
All sophomores and seniors are to schedule classes on Tuesday, August 7 from 9 a.m. to noon.
All freshmen and juniors are to schedule classes from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, August 8.

Sacred Heart School in Moreauville will hold school registration on Thursday, August 2 from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for all grades Pre-K to grade 8.
