COTTONPORT- Services for Icie Lee James were held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 11 a.m. at First Evening Star Baptist Church in Cottonport where Pastor Greg Jackson officiated.  Internment followed in First Evening Star Cemetery, under the direction of Progressive Funeral Home, Bunkie.

Icie Lee James, age 52 of Cottonport, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Bunkie General Hospital. 

She was a member of First Evening Star Baptist Church, a food technician for 17 years at Bernard's Cajun Sea-Fry Restaurant in Cottonport.

Those left to cherish her memory; two sons, Keon James of Cottonport, and Keviyon James of Cottonport; five daughters, Shantana james of Cottonport, Davaki james of Cottonport, Kilston james of Cottonport, Breanna james of Cottonport, and Alicia James of Cottonport; two brothers, Reverend Andrew James of LaMarque, Texas and Robert James of Palm Beach, Florida; three sisters, Betty James of Cottonport,  Doretha James of Cottonport, and Rita James of Texas City, Texas; six grandchildren; and  her fiance, David Wells of Cottonport.

 Pallbearers were; Lonnie James, Christopher James, Desmond Eldridge, Billy Ray Wells, Hayward Wells and Peter James.
