The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has Issued a Heat Advisory, Which is in effect from Noon today to 6pm CST This Evening.

* Temperature, Afternoon Heat Index Values are Expected to Range from around 107 to 109 Along and North of a Line from Jasper to Opelousas During the Afternoon Hours.

* Impacts, Prolonged Exposure to the Heat May Lead to Heat Exhaustion and Heat Stroke. The Risk for Heat Related Illnesses will be High today, for Those Working Outdoors, As Well As for Those in Inadequately Cooled Buildings.

TONIGHT Partly cloudy, with a low around 77. Southwest wind around 5 mph.

WEDNESDAY Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 98. Heat index values as high as 109. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.
