Funeral services for Shirley Anne Dauzat of Marksville will take place at the St. Paul Catholic Church of Mansura on Thursday, August 2, 2012, beginning at 10:00am with Father Chad Partain officiating. Visitations will be held at the Escudé Funeral Home of Mansura on Wednesday, August 1, 2012, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and will resume Thursday morning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Paul Catholic Cemetery. Shirley Dauzat, age 74, passed away at the Grace Home Hospice Center on Tuesday, July 31, 2012. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ambrose & Benita Villemarette; brothers, Clyde Villemarette, Wilford Villemarette, Cilton Villemarette; sisters, Earline Rabalais, Marie Dibble, Tracey Bonnette, Grace Bordelon; great-grandchild, Maria Alexandria. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Raymond Dauzat of Marksville; children, Belinda Dauzat of Alexandria, Glen Dauzat of Marksville, Ned Dauzat of Alexandria, Donna Stracener of Turkey Creek; four grandchildren & two great-grandchildren; and her brother, Raymond Villemarette of Alexandria. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escudé Funeral Home.
