A Ville Platte woman is facing charges of cruelty to juveniles after she allegedly beat her two children, ages four and seven.
Ville Platte Detective Ervin “Chip” Pitre said the mother, Desiree Ardoin, 34, 606 Reed St., Ville Platte was charged Saturday, May 31, after she allegedly disciplined her two young children. He said there were whelps in several places across both children’s bodies.
She was taken into police custody and charged with two counts of cruelty to juveniles. Social services are involved in this case.
