The City of Ville Platte’s annual summer feeding program is underway, and Annie Bradley, director, said everything is going well. <!--break-->She said over 500 children, from summer school and the community, are being fed by the program. Any person, up to the age of 18, can arrive at Ville Platte High’s cafeteria, Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and enjoy lunch. The program will be closed Friday, July 4, and it ends July 25. You don’t have to register to participate in the program. “Just show up and eat,” Bradley said.
