Services for Mr. Leeston Joseph Aymond will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 14, 2009 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Hessmer with Father Paul Kunnumpuram officiating. Burial will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery in Hessmer.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mr. Aymond, 77, of Hessmer, passed away at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria Wednesday, February 11, 2009.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sheldon and Annie Rae Aymond, brother, Herman Aymond, sisters, Grace Jenkin, Delores Lacour.

Survivors include one son, Rickey Aymond, two daughters, Charlene Aymond and Deborah Aymond, all of Marrero; three sisters, Joanne Sibly of Mobile, Alabama, Mary Ann Arnouville, and Zoalen Lopez, both of Hessmer; seven grandchildren numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home Friday, February 13, 2009 from 4 pm until 10 pm and from 8 am until shortly before time of service Saturday. A Christian Wake Service will be held at 8 p.m. in the chapel on Friday.
