----- BUNKIE 0, AMITE 48 -----

The Bunkie Panthers were overcome by the Amite Warriors 48-0 in the first round of 3A playoffs.

Bunkie's leading rusher was Kendrick Leary with 68 yards, and Bunkie finished the season with a 6-5 overall record.

----- MARKSVILLE 8, PARKVIEW BAPTIST 40 -----

Marksville Tigers miscues allowed the Parkview Baptist Eagles to score 26 points of their 40 in a 40-8 playoff win.

A fumble, a short punt, a pass knocked down deep in Marksville's territory helped the Eagles score 3 short-field touchdowns in less than four minutes.

Twice, Marksville looked like they were coming around with strong drives, the first in the second quarter that ended at Parkview's 34. In the 3rd quarter the Tigers drove to Parkview's 8 in an impressive 71 yard drive, but disappointment for Marksville fans came when when Jake Dunbar's pass was intercepted in the endzone.

Marksville finished the season 5-6.
