Greenhouse scores 13 points of LC's 77-66 over Houston team

LC senior forward Daniel Greenhouse of Marksville scored 13 of 77 points and had four assists in a Louisiana College basketball game win over a Houston team.



The Wildcats' first game of the new year turned out to be their best performance of the season, an 11-point win over NAIA St. Thomas, of Houston, with a 77-66 score. The game was played home in Pineville. Greenhouse is a Marksville High graduate and former player of the Marksville High basketball team.

Sophomore Korey Salmon of Deville, a graduate of Buckeye High, had the best statistical game, with a 13-point, 11-rebound double-double to go along with four assists and two blocks. He is 6', nine".

The Wildcats, along with the Lady Cats, will now embark on a three-game road trip against consecutive American Southwest Conference foes - Mary Hardin-Baylor (Thursday), Concordia (Saturday) and Mississippi College (Tuesday) before returning home against Texas-Tyler on Jan. 14.
